Though The Hajjah Project's mission is to help more women make Hajj, we need everyone to help make this happen. We know our sisters face many challenges which may delay their ability to make Hajj. Family commitments, finances, health issues, and even age may be obstacles. There are many single sisters in our community who need support in making Hajj.

The Hajjah Project will give inkind and cash gifts to women who have made their intention to make Hajj and are registered with a verifiable Hajj guide service. Our first project focuses on sisters in the Los Angeles area. Marital status is not a concern. We know our brothers understand that a gift to a married sister still benefits the husband.

All Hajjis and brothers are welcome and needed as supporters and volunteers of The Hajjah Project. We are one Ummah!

The Hajjah Project is a collaborative effort to inspire Muslim women to make the completion of the Hajj pilgrimage a priority.  We believe the Hajj multiplies the blessings Allah has set forth for all believers. Because many women face special challenges in making the Hajj, this project's mission is to support women who are making a first-time journey to Hajj, while affording all Muslims the opportunity to receive the blessing of supporting their sisters in achieving this fifth pillar of Islam.
